Storm Update

April 26, 2012

Good Morning,

As you know your weather radios just went off for a severe thunderstorm watch that is in effect until 12pm today. A large complex of severe storms are moving southeast across the plateau this morning with more storms forecasted to develop ahead of a cold front that will be dropping in late this afternoon. Any storm that developes today ahead of the front has a good chance of going severe and possibly producing high winds and hail. There doesn’t seem to be much in the way of a tornado threat but as always don’t assume there can’t be a tornado. Our severe weather threat will be over this evening as the front makes it to the Alabama line. Stay tuned!
